General Purpose Metal Cutting Oil – Optimised for Bandsaw Applications

Our General Purpose Metal Cutting Oil is a high-performance soluble fluid concentrate, formulated specifically for use with bandsaws and other general metal cutting equipment. When mixed with water at concentrations between 3% and 10%, it produces a stable, high-oil milky emulsion that ensures consistent lubrication and cooling at the blade/workpiece interface.

Designed for applications where a non-EP (Extreme Pressure) fluid is preferred, this cutting oil is suitable for both ferrous and non-ferrous metals, including mild steel, stainless steel, aluminium, and copper alloys. It supports smooth cutting action, reduces frictional heat, and helps extend bandsaw blade life by maintaining sharpness and preventing premature wear.

A key advantage of this product is its unique corrosion inhibition system, rarely found in water-mix fluids. It provides added protection for both the bandsaw machine and the components being processed, minimising rust formation on slideways, clamping fixtures, and finished parts.
